You're doing a few things wrong, chiefly playing by yourself - join a player corp.

You're also running missions.

That may sound glib, but it really is a problem.

As you've noticed, they're boring and repetitive — it's very, very easy to grind yourself out of the game this way. They're also fairly mediocre money.

"What? I heard they're really good money!"

They can be, but not for you, not yet. A good portion of your payout is in the form of LP, which is convertible to ISK at some roughly supply-and-demand driven rate. You're wringing your hands over some LS jumps to run missions while flying an I-guess-this-ship-will-do, while simultaneously trying to compete in the LP "market" against people who have ruthlessly min/max optimized their mission running.

I'd suggest finding a new player friendly null corp and, especially since you're already gal trained, doing some VNI ratting while learning the ropes from the other members.
