This isn't a problem, but it's hardware related and I thought interesting.

I have an HP netbook model DM1, which has an AMD processor in it, and only 1.6ghz but also has AMD Vision graphics. This system cost $425 new last spring, I saw a similar Toshiba system for $320 today. I have the E-350 processor.

Not having a laptop, but on a trip I decided to take it, and bored I downloaded EvE to try it out - I thought I might be able to mine or something. I use it at home to stream Amazon and Netflix videos on a 40" TV with no problems, Well, it runs, and runs very well not only for mining, but ratting and anomalies as well. To make sure it wasn't a fluke, I parked a character 100km off Jita 4-4. The FPS tool is averaging 20fps, I have no problem moving or warping, even as local chat is streaming by and 40 ships on screen. There's a little hesitation in the graphics starting warp, but that is it.
