If a ship has a buff to a certain trait like;

+ 7.5 % to ECM
+ 7.5 % to Remote Damper, etc

Does that carry over to the drone you may use as well? Or, is it just modules you mount to ship?
As in a bonus for using an ECM drone in the 1st case or a Remote Damper drone in the second.

Thanks for any info,

In my experience the answer is no. Hull and role bonuses only affect the ship any drones bonuses there might be are listed separately.

Only the ship. If there is any kind of drone bonus it will be listed separately. (Example Orca, Dominx, or Arbitrator)..

Drone bonuses will be explicitly declared in the traits tab.
Otherwise the only factor in consideration is the relevant skills you have trained.

7.5% bonus to ECM Target Jammer refers to installing the specific ECM Target Jammer I, II, or meta/pirate variants on the ship. Same for Remote Sensor Dampener I, II, or meta variants. These modules are not drones.

A ship with bonuses to specific drones would say specifically which drones in its info page. Examples are: bonus to damage of drones and yield of mining drones (this bonuses all combat drones because the ewar drones don't do damage), or bonus to the damage of light and medium combat drones (this doesn't give bonuses to heavy drones, sentry drones, or ewar etc.).
