I have a question to whoever has the answer.

I currently have 2 bonus remaps available, and 1 due on May 2nd.

Now let's say I use one of the bonus remaps between now and then, on May 2nd I will have 1 bonus remap and 1 remap available.

If I remap on the 3rd of May, will I be using my bonus remap, or my 'annual' remap? (that will consequently start the timer rolling again)

tl;dr

If a normal (annual) remap is available it will be used in preference. Any bonus remap used while the annual timer is running will not affect that timer.
