Cost of Excavator Drones

Hi,

i have a question about the new capital drones.

Each excavator drone gains an earning from maximal the same as a hulk.
Each Hulk + Fit cost what? 300million, drones costs increases and increases, actual at 1.8billions.

Is this the estimated price, ccp wants or are there concepts to change it, regardless if lower or higher?

For my opion, 1.8billion is a way too much.

And NO, i dont wants them as a gift, but for a meaningful price.

CCP already made drone component drops more frequent and has indicated they will be monitoring the situation.

Can you fly multiple hulks at the same time on one account? If not, then why do you expect a "special hulk" that allows you to do that to cost the same.

Ultimately, I don't know if CCP intended for those excavators to be that expensive, but they are. And the price for them is formed by supply and demand. If those drones cost 1.8B, it means that there are enough people that are willing to pay that much. And that in turn means, that it's probably worth it, and I can totally see this being the case, seeing the wealth our rorqual miners are raking in.

The price is set by the market. They require substantial amounts of rogue drone materials which are in short supply. Higher prices should attract more players to the activities that provide those materials - increasing supply and moderating price.

In the meantime - if you don't think they are worth 1.8 billion, there is no law saying you need to buy them. They maintain that price because other people are willing to pay it.

Price that the drone is selling for is not so much the issue.

Even the fact the BPC is around 400mil for a 5 run copy is not the primary issue.

The problem is the vast list of materials that are required to build the drone of which some of the required materials are a complete nightmare to obtain or even farm for and at the numbers needed are crazy.

While the cost of the drone should not be cheap the fact the cost is now pushing up to the cost of the Rorqual hull itself is huge red flag that something needs to be done to curve the cost.

I do not expect them to be free and do expect them to cost more then a hulk but the current cost of the materials required is out of control.
