I heard "pedantic" in Peter's voice when I read that. Thanks. I hate you.

I would rephrase that as "CCP doesn't respond in F&I."

Which leads to the conclusion that CCP doesn't read it, because if you read something you should always comment amirite? /sarcasm

This is where we disagree, your concept of "something" doesn't mesh well with the definition of "anything" or perhaps I should be more positive and say "much at all"

eh?

My head hurts. I was trying to sarcastically comment on the belief that if someone did not comment on a topic, then they didn't read it... but you fried my brain.

And pink is the new black, etc.

I get that the Incarna debacle was an acceptable reason for a bunch of "DO THIS" and "FIX THAT" posts in General Discussion, but since then a bunch of ahem... creative minds... have decided that they will use "General Discussion" for what "Features and Ideas Discussion" is supposed to do -- proposing new features and ideas, discussing them, etc. So I guess all I have to say is:

Why are you people doing this?

I am aware of the sentiment that "F&I is where good ideas go to die", but while GD will attract you more attention, it will also bury your posts in the mire of "Rate the character above you" and other such stuff. On top of that, it's more full of trolls.

Please go to F&I to post your ideas for features!

An auxiliary question is also, why are those ideas not getting moved to F&I by forum admins?

There are a few reasons I see that is happens,

People want to think their ideas will be read and considered, therefore they post in general chat as the player traffic is much higher. In addition the devs as a rule do NOT post in F&I, despite claiming to read it. This mystical confirmation isn't appealing so people post in GD because there is at least a chance a dev will reply (they do to some). Lastly, there is no consequence to it, so why not start in GD and get replies, then when you're moved to F&I, you'll have a blue tag (from move) and increase the likelihood people will read your post.
Always ... Never ... Forget to check your references.   Peace out Zulu! Hope you land well!

You're right, I didn't think about it this way. I suppose it will take more than a whiny post like mine to fix that, then.

There should really be penalties for consistently posting in the wrong sections of forums.

Report the posts (little red flag) for being in the wrong area enough times and they get moved.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.
