Alright lads, looking to run missions and start the Angel Cartel arc. Was thinking of taking an interceptor (either a claw or stiletto), is this doable? If so, any recommendations on fittings? Cheers.

Well, the level 3 Pirate Epic Arcs were originally designed to be ran with Interceptors, especially since they're now bubble immune and warp very fast. Course in the past I've heard of players doing them in Assault Frigates as well.

Personally since I like Shield Tanks I'd probably go with the Stiletto due to having more mid slots. It might take a bit longer to complete missions due to lack of firepower but it's tank will definitely make it survivable. I'd probably fit it with Autocannons for up close brawling with an active shield tank.

Now the Claw should complete missions much faster since it has more high slots for firepower, however it definitely lacks a good defensive tank. Sure it has lot's of low slots for Armor tank but come on, it's an Interceptor, it needs to be quick. I'd probably make it an Arty Claw for long range action with active resists, basically that will help it's defense while keeping it agile and quick.

Last but not least I'd definitely try to fit a cloak on it, great for hiding out in safe spots while checking out local. As for more detailed fit ups, I suggest doing a goggle search. Good luck to you and may you have a quick and successful run with the arc.

Thanks a lot for the input man, was running missions in Doril and Utopia earlier, seems to be decently populated, but I've been able to escape with my interceptor. Using the Stiletto currently, but running into powergrid/cpu problems when trying my ideal fit.

A lot of players will say go T2 fit but I personally think CCP set up the ships to be fit with Faction and Deadspace mods. They use less powergrid and CPU for fitting as well as increase ship stats. With Interceptors being bubble immune and very quick and agile, there's very little chance of being caught, especially when using safespots and D-scan.
