I made more money looting some abandoned drones than I did in several hours of L1 missions. I'm prepared to go yellow to make isk. I need isk for ships. I need isk for pvp. I've already landed my first few kills nothing special but I did get the pods too :) I want more blood.

My first kill was a scout for code which made it all the sweeter

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Funnily enough that's where I killed The aforementioned code scout...and not single skill in gunnery or missiles upgraded yet. Yay me. Soon tho soon low Sec and pirating. Are rvb still around? they leave tons of stuff just floating in space

RvB is still around.

However, if youre looking to ninja loot and salvage, run around Faction Warfare space with a quick ship.

Rvb had some good players back in the day but also many noobs I'm hoping that when I go yellow it's the noobs fault that I get away :)

Killing for PVP loot (or looting abandoned drones and wrecks) is in the "do you feel lucky" category.

That said, in high-sec, look in belts, or set an autopilot route to travel from Jita to Amarr using the "safe" option, and check at the gates in the 0.5 and 0.6 security systems along the way. The lower security rating makes Concord police wait a while before they show up, so the PVP'ers have more time to kill ships, and thus that's where they do it.

In low-sec, you're looking at 4 possibilities: high-conflict faction warfare (FW) systems, Jita - Amarr "fastest" route (it passes through low-sec), the points of entry from low-sec to 0.0 sov space, and (open the Agent Finder app and search for) Level 5 agents. Any system in low-sec will have pirates always on the hunt for prey, but the above 4 options will yield more chances of PVP / loot happening.

In 0.0 space, you're looking at probably 2 possibilities: the entry points into 0.0 space (from low-sec), and sites of major wars happening (check Reddit/r/eve to get general war news). There's also probably daily intruders into the Providence 0.0 region, because the owners have the space as NRDS, they allow neutrals to fly in, so people take advantage of that.

For all three areas of space, you can reconfigure your map to show the galaxy's stars colored by how many kills have happened recently (ships killed in the last 30 min, pods killed in the last 30 min), and you'll see the big red dots where activity has happened.

Wormhole space, there's no such map feature, but you can load up a probing ship and go probe out ships or drones or the relic sites that other Alphas like to ninja-harvest gas from, see if anyone's been killed there.

You also have the option of probing out players who run L4 missions in high-sec, usually find them using combat probes to find the ship or their drones. Go in with a full-salvager destroyer and salvage the NPC wrecks they create. Won't even turn you yellow, and you can make several million ISK per site. Some people may grumble at your presence, some may welcome you; it's generally understood that wreckage can be salvaged by anyone. If they shoot you, let them, Concord will get them, then you can loot their ship wreck too.

hi, thanks for the replies, im not training into probing for a while but it would be useful to, and i have remapped for int mem atm. maybe i should?

once upon a time ninja looters came into my l4 mission in osmon. i created a bm docked my mach and came back in a pvp coercer.

there were two looters. the smart one ran the moment i landed. the nooby hung around going from wreck to wreck till he stopped and hovered at one.

he just had to loot it i guess.

he paid with his life.

yes i got the pod

...so im not sure i should take the pi$$ around osmon too much. but yeah i know people mission for soe there. thanks for the advice.

You may not actually have to probe. There are some players that will let you loot their sites if you just ask. They aren't many, but you'd probably find some.

It would be rather boring not to go full ninja, but it's good money.

i am on int/mem remap. i just want to get a few neccessities trained up on my path to maxxing out frigs asap.

though it would be beneficial to grab a few scanning skills for the aforementioned scanning down missions for profit and just maybe some pew pew.

theres also other pesky targets hidings in 'safe' spots....

In high sec there will be very little left over in the "battlefields" of PvP because the majority of the PvP in high sec they have alts that scoop the loot.

In high sec scanning is your best option to find loot and drones or MTU are probably the best things to look for since both of those are widely used by mission / site runners.

Low level mission (level 1 and 2) are terrible for ISK but you need to grind through them as quickly as possible to get to level 3's and 4's. Even a mid skill level mission pilot can make more ISK running level 3 missions than you can looting and salvaging the things other leave laying around in space.

Since you are bent on killing them I suggest you look around for a low sec or worm hole group that wants / needs more players they will often have ship replacement programs for the inexpensive T1 stuff new players routinely lose.
