Margin trading skill

Hi, i have just returned to eve after a few years and i have the margin trading skill maxed out, i purchased the omega account yet when i try to place buy orders the margin trading skill is not taking effect as it used to and instead its asking for the full amount of the order in escrow, whats changed with this skill? does it not work anymore?

At the time of placing the order you must have the full amount needed in the wallet. Only a fraction will be put into escrow then based on the skill level. Otherwise it could be abused too easily.

Just empty the escrow by dumping on another buy-order of your own, with one of your alts to free up your cash.
