Is it possible to configure an overview tab so it only shows hostile citadels ? Would be rather useful when you are fighting a citadel to have in your combat tab with the rest of the bad guys and threats.

It is very unlikely to have a friendly and an enemy Citadel on the same grid, but even if this is the case, they would be at least 1000 Kms apart, so you couldn't possible lock the wrong one without being at the wrong place. So just add Citadels (and Engineering Complexes) to your fighting overview tab.

No you can't add the hostile citadels only. Only all citadels or no citadels...

It happens all the time in null sec. Your friendly citadels will show up in overview if they are in system while hostile ones will show up if you are on grid. Hopefully CCP will eventually update it to allow the distinction but I just wanted to know if it was possible, which it isn't.

Yes, I can understand this would be a problem if there are a lot of friendly citadels in system. Which I expect will become a growing problem with time.

The only workaround I could suggest is to have no Citadels on the overview and simply target the hostile Citadel from the main window. It is big enough to find easily and there will only be one in range. Plus it is not the sort of thing that you will be switching targets from and to a lot.

In theory, I would support a suggestion to be able to seperate hostile Citadels from friendly ones. The trouble is the definition of hostile as it applies to a Citadel. 'Hostiles', 'Neutrals' and 'Friends' are flagged based on your (or your corp) standings towards them. But (offgrid) Citadels show on your overview based on a binary flag set in the Citadel - x entity can dock/can't dock. Not your standings to them. So the owner of a certain Citadel could be set red to you, but you're allowed to dock there.

So be careful what you wish for. If you get the ability to seperate the two states and set up an overview that only shows 'hostile' (undockable) Citadels, you could still be unable to see (on your overview) the one you are shooting, because it's owner has got you set as dockable.

Edit: Perhaps the request to CCP would be to seperate offgrid and ongrid Citadels in your overview settings. So you could set up an overview that only shows ongrid Citadels regardless of whether you can dock at them.
