As was pointed out by Artemis Drakos, I have been running in parallel with her project. After almost a week straight of having to rely on Imparitors for most my work I finally pieced together enough materials for a Magnate, Nereus, and a Venture. So far so good.

+1 i like this.

I follow a similar set of rules, where by i stopped doing PvE almost entirely a few years back (i'll still help a newbro bash some rats once in a blue moon). It made my game feel so much deeper because risk became so much more.. risky... :D

Props for the experiment, i'll be keeping a close eye Pirate

Don't forget if you want Tech 2 mats you could always go steal them with a Mobile Syphon Unit. Risky but entirely doable.

Yeah, the rules might need to have a gap in them plugged. Am I missing something or is the only way to get PI stations through buying them off the market? Are there blueprints for Planetary Command Centers? I couldn't build a lot of stuff without PI products (Like the Siphon Unit)

Maxim 21. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Take his fish away and tell him he's lucky just to be alive, and he'll figure out how to catch another one for you to take tomorrow.

No need to make yourself any loopholes. There are plenty of people out there with fish you can take away.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

If you are not putting the modules you get from loot on the market, why not just reprocess them back to the basic materials and then use that.

Just a thought there.

Hey Djsaeu, that is in fact the main way we get alot of the better minerals, Zyd ect. and the ONLY way we can get Megacyte at this stage in the game.

On other news, our experiment is growing, with 4 active members within the corp, a few expressions of interest and another running solo parallel with us its starting to become a small community to which we can support each other and hopefully progress a little faster.

Really does show the importance of working together in EVE.

You are equivalent of Amish when it comes to New Eden by doing that.

I have an idea, make it so you are some kind of cult in game, maybe you will get more members. Pirate

I have found the best way to get zydrine and megacite is to take a venture into wormholes and mine the ore anomalies, you get 20 min before the npc's show which should be just enough time to fill up. Don't hang around when they show up but they will pretty much one shot you.

I would be interested in joining you on this venture if you are still on it and are looking for additional people to join you!
Sent you an eve mail as well.
