Are there any plans in the works for this NPC Corporation? They've got Level 1 through Level 4 Distribution and Security Agents based in other NPC Corps stations that give LP but there is no actual InterBus LP store?

Not sure how up to date this list is but DOTLAN is showing 34 agents, with two of those being of the type 'Event Mission Agent':

I ran Interbus missions a number of years ago, back before LP stores.
There were no special mission agents at the time either, so the agent you were running would offer a special mission as your 13th mission, and repeat each 12 completed.

The offered rewards from Interbus special missions was mainly a lot of what became lower end PI goods, I don't recall them offering Implants, but I was only working a L3 security at the time. So, most players would run 12 and get the basically a bunch of crap reward offered for the special, and then go the heck with this, and move to another agent, but there was a bit of a obscure angle to Interbus. Doing the special missions also give a faction standing adjustment. Since Interbus is positive to all empire factions you would gain equal amounts of standing in all four empire factions for each special mission completed.

The Devs must have noted this when the LP store/special mission revamp came in, but it was there from launch to when it ultimately got quashed by not offering an LP store with Interbus, and no addition of Interbus Special mission agents.

You could obtain excellent standing in all four factions by doing Interbus, and I did. This has paid off, because now I can go to any empire agent and obtain missions, no need to crawl up through L1 - L3 to obtain an L4 agent. I also made quite a bit of ISK selling off all that PI stuff years later when it became valued.

Interbus agent missions don't have Empire Faction targets since they are jointly owned by all Faction Empires. You could do L4 missions for several weeks before any changes happened to your faction standings. Only a few of the missions will affect your Faction standings and your security status rating. Those would be Anti-Pirate missions such as Worlds Collide, Vengeance, and Blockade. Loyalty points are gained with the mission rewards but there's no LP store available. Also Interbus doesn't offer any Storyline missions. This is due to them being positive with all Empire Factions which would be viewed as an exploit. The only way of gaining Faction standing with The Interbus is by derived standing gains from the other Factions.

So basically if you want to complete missions without affecting your Faction standings, then Interbus would be the one. Usually this would be a good option after gaining high Faction standings with all Empire Factions. Basically The Interbus is like a mission running retirement corp that won't mess up Capsuleer Faction standings.

I did not know this, while the LP store is a huge boost, so would me being able to run endless quick lvl 4s with out the issue of standings like how I dropped 3 points with gallente fixing standings with some corps that dropped because of shooting gankers.

I wish they would do something to make InterBus agents stand out more, a couple weeks ago I wasted half an hour running missions on a Carthum Station, trying to raise my standing with that corp. Then I suddenly noticed nothing was happening, checked the agent and noticed it was an InterBus-agent, ha ha. Nice troll, InterBus! P

• I think this is all good. The lack of Storyline missions and not gaining or loosing any substantial standing when running missions for InterBus makes sense with their history/lore in -game.

• This is the part that doesn't make any sense to me - if you're going to reward LP then there should be something to 'spend' it on. Maybe something like POCOs and PI Command Centres, things that aren't tied to any specific Faction or maybe something that adds flavor like InterBus ship skins?

Wasn't there a way to change CONCORD-LP to other LP? Maybe that works with InterBus, too. (Never tried it myself.)

That option being available sounds very familiar, unfortunately I can't be sure.

As with all things, a CCP GM would know for sure.
