One of the key metrics games companies use is number of game logons per day. In Eve's case its particularly relevant as you don't get SP by grinding.

Now if you're completely self-financing then such metrics aren't as important. CCP isn't self-financing. Eve is, CCP isn't.

IMO keep it off websites and have separate client.

I would

A) Pay for an android app that allowed me to do limited station based things
B) Be logged on through it a lot more often while away from PC

Win win for ccp?
