Cheap Carrier DPS and Fit

I would like to know how much DPS would a carrier like the Archon would get with t2 fighter drones and whats a good fit for it. I saw some vids from markeedragon rating in one with what looked like a good fit but I don't know the modules it had but he showed the fit in this video https://youtu.be/G0nPzCWHNGw?t=12m28s

It's very difficult to say exactly what the dps is, since the stats aren't actually shown on fitting windows unlike drones. I've estimated it's around 2.3-2.7k dps with a ratting fit archon. (Which I assume is what you mean.) But that's just a guesstimate comparing it to a paladins 1.3k dps.

Are nullsec rats too fast for capital energy turrets? Because a revelation can do 12k dps but I have not found a video of rating with a revelation. If it can get them then its worth it, it would be 10 times faster for a for less than one billion isk more.

2234 DPS. Fit costs ~1.5bil. Thrown together in two minutes so it's likely prone to oversights or errors. Archon is **** for this compared to a Nid or a Thanny.

Nidhoggur with just T2 mods (no blue green purple) will push 3200 dps. A Thanny will do a bit less than that as the Thanny should be armor tanked which takes space from the DDAs. An Archon will push a maximum of 2300 dps with good fit and skills. That's like having a full extra Marauder on the rating field. If you are just shooting dots on the screen, why fly anything else?

Phoenix is the Caldari Dreadnought. Not designed for ratting at all.

Paper DPS and applied DPS... 'nuff said.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.
