Is there any way to price check BPCs other than trawling through contracts?

You can ask in the blueprint channel for a price check, but better though is to find a seller in the contracts and browse through his/her history. If there is no current seller you always can try with a guessed price and see what happens. if it is sold promptly you were too cheap ...

A good guess is 20-50% of the profit a manufacturer would make using the print.

Depends so much on the bpc you have. You cant sell bpc for a standard ship for examble raven, dominix or any other BS if you cut the profit toi much. BS bpc's i buy under 1M
