Need for a single bug reporting system for API/CREST/ESI/SDE/etc?

I think I remember in the past someone asking where the best place to post a bug report, issue, etc. with CREST or the SDE was this forum. However, then it turned to twitter, slack, git, reddit, and potentially other outlets to get a hold of CCP devs to fix something. Isn't this a bad way to do this?

For example, recently the industry/facilities endpoint was throwing a 500 and apparently it was linked with an esi problem, which was reported on github and is now fixed. Today, the EVE API for accounts and characters is throwing a 500 and I can't find the issue reported anywhere.

Is it possible to get a single place where we can post and see current bug reporting? Is there a way to get the attention of Devs besides spamming 4 different locations (guilty)? It's a bit frustrating looking around for an issue or a solution and not find anything. It seems only those that spend a significant amount of time on slack get actual information on the status of current issues - can't we change that?

Agreed and it shouldn't be the bug report system they already have because the only time they ever reply to that system is if it's about them getting RL money form someone.

The XML API and CREST are on their way out, with ESI set to replace them and become the only consumer of SSO authorization; the devs have already instituted a single bug reporting system: https://github.com/ccpgames/esi-issues

They haven't though, they are just using a system already there for themselves. I've seen no post or notice that this is the 'official' way to report bugs. Also, the SDE will still exist and there are bound to be other issues than just ESI to deal with.
