I couldn't find specific guidance on the forums concerning selling a character with an established planetary interaction scheme set up on various planets. Am I allowed to sell a characte,r with the PI setup, on the character market (eve forums)? If not, can I sell a character outside of eve bazaar forums with the aforementioned stuff? Thank you!

You generally can't sell a character with assets via the character bazaar, it may be worth raising a support ticket to see if CCP regard a PI farm as assets.

Selling your character outside of the official method will get you banned. External sales of Eve items and characters is seen as RMT (trading eve stuff for cash or other goods not related to Eve) and is against the EULA.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Character Bazaar Rules.

Quote:
8. Items cannot be listed among the character's valuable assets, only skills, implants and reputation. You are buying/selling the character ONLY and nothing else. Ships and items can be readily bought or sold on the market for ISK.

Although it doesn't specify PI facilities specifically, I would guess that PI setups on each planet, POCO's, etc. would fall under the rule of "you're only selling the skills, implants, and reputation of the character" (i.e. you can't list the PI facilities as "value" to be sold).

Also, the Character Bazaar is full of character resellers, so keep in mind that the majority of the offers you'll get will be based on how many skillpoints they can extract and sell as skill injectors. Resellers don't care that you've put together a thoughtful skill plan or that your character is specialized and able to do something.

As for selling outside the Character Bazaar, at the top of the rules "no other form of trade is sanctioned or supported." In addition, sections 3 and 6B of the EULA spell out the restrictions for account and character transfers.

Basically, as far as I can tell, only Character Bazaar is allowed, and only in exchange for ISK, and only the character stats themselves (skills / skillpoints, reputation, standings, implants, sec. status, the number of attribute remaps, etc.) can be assigned a value. The forum moderators will lock your Character Bazaar sale post if you break the rules and list things that are against the rules.

Otherwise, if you don't remove a character's ships and other items before you sell the character, that's considered "free gifts" to the buyer, and you won't be reimbursed.
