Mining Belt Killmails!

The idea is simple; Indy site 'Killmails'

For any mining related site that was mined out, we would get a equivalence of a kill mail where participation of grinding it down, using m3 as KPI, would be listed. They could be delayed to prevent gankers from getting too much useful information. I see several benefits:

- Its awesomely cool!
- Indy players have something to brag about
- It creates an incentive to finish off a belt rather than cherry pick

Thoughts?

If you give humans something to compete over, they will compete over it. Imagine if Logi pilots could have a score in their character sheet that showed how many shield, armor, and hull points they have repped. Or Cap transferred. Or missile boat pilots get scores for how many missiles their defenders shoot down. (Never mind that the last example isn't actually equivalent to the first two.)

Tracking metrics exist because humans like to beat each other. Maybe more of them in the game couldn't hurt.

I was more joking than anything, actualy I would totally compare mine over the time, especially if we can differentiate each mineable ressource in the game.

The more I think about this idea, the more I would like to see who is the top mackinaw kernite miner in Devoid.

Or the best Skiff Arkonor miner in Providence .

Beside, CCP already has metrics for the mining activity in each region of space, just not precise.

Nah thanks. As a small gang logi pilot I kinda don't want any kinda of unwanted attention. Everything is fine and all my corp and alliance mates appreciate the logi without any record of it.
