Ideas for a second account

When I was lured back by the Alpha status (and within a week resubbed) I subbed two accounts.

My secondary account was originally being skilled for off grid boosting... but that's obviously not a thing now.

So... I'm trying to figure out ways to use the second account simultaneously with the first... given the limitation that I'm on a single screen and have to alt-tab between the two.

I've got the passive income thing set along with semi-passive (market training).
I use the second account to salvage for the first while running missions.

I'm trying to figure out ways to use the second account in conjunction with the first to provide benefit without having to alt-tab over to the secondary one all that often. Would any of you be willing to share ways you use a secondary account in conjunction with your main to a good benefit?

If window borders does not bother you, try running eve in windowed mode.. its a bit faster and you can switch to a browser easier as well.

A second damage dealer will help improve your mission completion times. I tried this with 2x sentry domis, with the second acct sentries slaved to my main for a simpler target management.

Err, boost are still a thing, they're not " push button ; get Bacon " anymore but they're still just as useful as ever.
One of the bonuses of the rebalance is that you're no longer gimping the fit on your booster to do max links anymore.

My Proteus boost's, combat probes, cloaks, has a covops cyno +scram web and mwd and has 80k ehp.
Alltold that's a metric **** tonn of extra utility for the sacrifice of being on grid and having a couple less links

Edit: as the poster above mentioned, windowed mode and havethen partially overlap

I understand boosts are still a thing... but they involve putting the booster at some risk (where as before that really was not the case). I'm concerned I won't really be able to manage two accounts in danger simultaneously. I can ignore my salvager in the previous "room" of a mission without much worry. With a booster within 50km... I feel like that might be a bit tougher to manage.

Sounds like it might not be impossible... but would require some practice on my part at dual account management in combat.

I'm also looking at other ways to more actively use the second account.... I'm thinking I can possibly use the alt in a covert ops for scanning down sites and running relic/data sites while my main is in a cloaked BC for combat sites. I'd then only actively be using one or the other while the inactive one would be cloaked... but I could go on long runs into dangerous space without re-fitting or going back to station to switch ships.

The same I guess would work if I ever get more competent at PVP... a combat scanner on the covops alt and a combat fit on the main.
