Cannot complete mining mission

I have just mined 7500 Augumene for a mission. I had to make several trips as my Thorax ship only holds a small amount or ore and have deposited all the ore in the item hanger at the mission agent's station. However when I speak to him to complete the mission he says ' One or mission objectives have not been completed ' even thought the 7500 Augumene has a blue tick against it in the mission window and the drop off point has a blue tick..
How do I complete?
Can someone help?
Thanks

Whats the name of the mission? Might be you should deliver to another station? Loot a certain item? Kill a certain mission rat? Etc. Provide more info and perhaps there will be clues.

Otherwise, you can petition for it to be reset.. sometimes.

The first thing to do is, stop mining in a Thorax. Use a Venture or a Mining Barge if you are Omega.

Try making sure all the ore is stacked in one pile in the items hanger and speak to the agent again.

If it still doesn't complete it sounds like the mission has bugged on you. This can happen with the mining missions if downtime occurs whilst you are mining the ore. You can either file a support ticket for help from a GM (F12 ingame has a button for it) or wait until downtime today. Downtime might reset the mission for you, so you can go back to the mining site and you will have to mine all 7500m3 of ore again.

I think I have found the mission you are refering to and if that is the case you have to mine at a certain mission location which should be visible on the Mission description.

If you have done this but forgot to mention it obviously disregard this post.

Mission description

Oh and don´t mine in a Thorax, if there's NPC:s scaring you just use Venture with a Microwarpdrive and speed tank them.

problem 1: thorax. It's not a mining ship.

Problem 2: all material 1 stack, items hangar.

I'am afraid the mission is bugged.
It doesn't matter if the require ore is in the item hanger or in the cargo/ore hold of a ship.
It will not complete even though all mission objectives are ticked as completed.
I travelled 7 jumps to pick up my Venture mining ship and took it back to the mission agents station and loaded the ore into the ore hold of the Venture, in-case the mission was expecting the ore to be on-board ship, but it still would not complete.
I only used the Thorax to mine the ore because my Venture was 7 jumps away. I had been doing Security missions up to that point with my Thorax.

my only thought is that maybe you have to go back to the mission deadspace and mine all the ore, or at least one of the rocks to get the in space part of the mission to complete. Most missions have an in space part A screenshot of the mission journal might help here. Also there is a mission helper thingy along with the system info and autopilot, it might suggest something for you to do.

confirm that it is the correct ore (spelling matters in these things.) Confirm that you are dropping it off in the correct station. Confirm that it is in 1 stack and shows as 1 icon in inventory (it actually doesn't strictly need to be in item hangar, it can be in cargo, but it can't be in ore hold or any other specialty holds, but the advice for item hangar usually clears up potential hang ups.) Confirm you have the correct amount (there shouldn't be any left over in the asteroid.) Which entry in the journal still has a yellow circle?

Just an aside - The vast majority of the times something wasn't going as I hoped with an EvE game mechanic the problem was something I was doing or something I hadn't figured out yet. Frustrating but satesying once you do figure something out.

Just confirming this is a common newbie error too. Mining concentrated Augumene doesn't count if the mission was to mine Augumene.

Common mining errors:
1. Wrong ore mined. Must be exactly the same name.
2. Wrong drop off. Sometimes the drop off is a container in space or a different station.
3. Seperate stacks. Everything needs to be restacked before turn in.
4. Never accepted mission.

I have now solved how to complete the mission.
You have to mine all the Augumene asteroids at the mission location until they are all depleted (empty).
I had enough ore OK but had not depleted all 7 asteroids that were there.
