Hi capsuleers

I understand how to raise npc corp standings, but in regards to single player corp. How would you go about raising your own corpstandings?

I'm thinking of creating a single player corp but have no idea how i would raise my own single player corp standings as i wouldnt be offering myself missions.

Hope that makes sence

Thanks
Yan

Standings between players and player corps and player alliances are different. There are 5 lvl. If you ever add a contact you see the 5 lvls and can set the contact to one of the 5. Default is neutral. You can set your corp to excellent for you and then make yourself excellent for your corp.

As for player corp standings to npc factions and corporations the standings are derived from the average of all members of the corp.

Not quite sure whether you mean:

1. How to raise your Corporations standings to NPC Corps

If you are in a one-character Corp, just raise your own. That will then be used to calculate your Corps standings with NPC Corps

2. How to raise your own standings with your own Corp

Firstly why? But if it is this, then just set yourself as a Corp contact and give yourself excellent standing. It has no benefit at all (hence the why question), but works.

EDIT: Damnit. Too slow

thanks, that helps understand the derived standings.

Example: From a player profile:

Security Status: 2.0
Corp Standing: 0.0 <-- Looking to raise this on player profile once in a single player corp basically.
Bounty Isk: 0

So yes, just set yourself to good or excellent.

Normally that is used to set standings of out if corp alts, characters/Corps/Alliances you don't like, etc.

It doesn't have any effect on characters in Corp except perhaps if you have POCOs, etc. and set different tax rates or something, but I've never really seen that happen to set in corp characters for that sort of purpose.

Someone smarter than me will probably come along though and explain a useful purpose for it.

You are currently in a newby corp which is also an npc corp entity, the standings for that corp would be increased the same way as you would for any other npc corp. Once you are in a player corp the system will be different until such time as you leave and move to your bloodlines corp, yet another npc corp. Enjoy being in the corp you are in now while it lasts, once you leave the corp by joining a player corp you will not be able to return.
