Any serious attempt at a keepstar in WH space is going to focus on hole control and podding the owners out, rather than a direct attack on the citadel itself. An undefended citadel is still a sitting duck, and assailing them with subcaps is in the range of what's realistic for some of the larger WH groups to be able to field. I don't really think that the keepstar is as much of an issue as the caps that a potential defender can field, but that's an entirely different issue.

So let's play make believe here and say you are able to pod everyone out of the worm hole except those manning the Keepstars defenses and the owners are not smart enough to bring them back in during your downtime, or the route needed to get them there is to long to make it practical to bring any significant amount of pilots back in.

You would still be facing the most destructive structure in the game, one that has more than 700 million EHP and essentially you have to do it with the stuff you can bring into the worm hole and hide from the owners, all while dealing with the mass limits of the worm hole entrances. Theory and the math says it is possible to do this, considering the logistical nightmares of moving enough stuff into the worm hole without your activities being spotted by the owners and I believe we will never see a Keepstar in a worm hole destroyed. But then this could all be for nothing because we may never see a Keepstar in worm hole.

The only thing a keepstar is really threatening to is caps, and yeah to pretty much whatever you can manage to seed the hole with, it'd be pretty deadly, at least until it runs out of capacitor. Towards subs however, they're very manageable, really not much worse than a fortizar, even if they're fit with anti-subcap launchers. It's applied DPS with capital launchers is pathetic, actual DPS with subcap launchers is also low, and for a comp with enough support, it's neuts, bombs and e-war are only going to be annoying. EHP isn't an issue, as you only need a fraction of its DPS cap to pause it's repair timer; the only grief you'll suffer is a longer grind during and between it's timers.

As far as I know, there are at least two keepstars already deployed in wormhole space. There are a few groups I could see anchoring one in the future, but we'll see. Groups like HK, Lazerhawks, and Hole Control are quite capable of taking down a keepstar owned by some medium and small wormhole entities. Most of the medium sized groups could do it against a poorly prepared defender.

You really need to take a harder look at citadels before you start whining about them here. They're available for testing on the test server and have been in the current version of Pyfa for some time now. The fact that 3000 players wanted to be on the killmail of the m-0 keepstar isn't in any way indicative of the minimum requirements to destroy one, or how a group of players might decide to try to destroy one in a wormhole.
