So i have scoured the net for info and i cannot find much (few old videos about ishtars and such) but mainly what im looking for is what is needed to tank these things and dps them I know allot of people like to do them in t3s but honestly i want a break from tengus and really want to see if a stratios can be fit to run them. Any info related to the dps type they deal (though i think ites pretty much omni from everything im reading) or any info period (even a website) would help.

I highly doubt those sites have been changed since CCP added them to the game. I would say the info currently available is still pretty much up to date.

Anyway, did a little bit of google search :

https://www.google.com/search?q=besieged+covert+research+facility&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

You can get a lot of info checking each one of the entries listed. Yeah it'll take time but that's what Eve is all about, right ?

Anyway, wish I could give you a more direct answer to your questions. Good luck to you.

What you need to know, the important stuff:

-DO NOT warp in at zero. You will die.
The spawns scramble below 40km and web below 25-30km I think.

-Do not sit around at close range, orbit something with high speed, at least 40km+ away from any ships.

-Bring high resistances on your tank, kinetic being the most important.
-Bring high dps to break their tank. After destroying the first spawn there comes in a second wave of 5 ships.

-You have 20 minutes to finish before the site despawns.

Example would be 700+ dps, else it takes too long to finish. tank of around 450-500 is sufficient on a cruiser size ship.

I do them in a HAM Cerberus with a cap battery and a large shield booster. At first glance it looks like it would get wrecked fast, but it canproperly mantank even if at 0 and scramwebbed. I also have a fit that has a propmod with pith-X SB, it needs all 5 tho.

It has around 570 tank, if you are scared bring antipharms. With antipharm and overheated SB it can tank 804 dps. But then I never needed any of those. Focus Mordu's Legion Battleship first, they have thin tank and shoot into your resist holes, use scourge rage missiles. Then shoot cruisers and commanders (big tank) with scourge rage. Also you can check out other stats for beseiged ships here.

Edit: this fit bellow is a bit cheaper but should work almost as well.

I have run these sites in a dual-rep dominix with a 42% kinetic resis hole, using MJD and sentry drones. No issue tanking up to 3 bs in the second spawn. If there're 4 bs in the second spawn, may bleed into hull; if 5, definitely need to warp out for repair.

I used to to these in a Rattlesnake, I would bring an alt along in a t1 logi ship too. As long as the DPS ship is closer to the rats than the logi ship then the logi is never shot.

Warp in at zero and Gecko + torp fun. Sites can be done in less than 10 minutes.

I made a small mistake in my previous reply. All besieged rats should be shot at with kinetic. Always. If you have kinetic bonus that is Pirate
