Please get rid of the Aggravation Timer for Fleet Boosts

Having been the booster, using a Porpoise, on many mining fleets the past week, I have figured out that for the new boost modules CCP Devs have used the smartbomb framework. This is causing one heck of an issue, we're now getting an Aggravation Timer when the boosts are active. This leads to a second problem, if the fleet gets ganked, and your lucky to get the Porpoise (Orca) out, you cant jump out of system or even dock. This then puts the ship, and pilot, in even more danger of losing a 63mil (900+ mil) isk ship.

There are plenty of ganking (Pirate) corps out there that will be now grinning from ear to ear at their killboards as they have billions of isk in kills. For the smaller industrial corp this will possibly make them fold even quicker, or get absorbed into one of the huge alliances, and then become just a faceless pilot. So please CCP, in the next patch, look and see if you can rewrite that framework so the timer is gone.

Why? It is viewed as an aggressive action. Accept it. As for escaping, if you can't bounce between safe spots in a system for a minute, you need to practice it more.

Besides your suggestion let's those who are camping a station have an unkillable booster. Undock, boost fleets, dock until the next cycle is needed. That's not good.

WTF? Are you like mad? The whole change is to require boosts to be on grid and to prevent afk boosts with no risk.

Isn't this what players constantly complain about ..... risk / reward on here?

Why would joining a larger group make you a "faceless pilot"... if you cannot stand out in a crowd. Then maybe the problem is that you where not that noteworthy to begin with.

Ok, fair point, but drop it for the mining boost atleast, and being in a fleet how is it an "Aggressive Action" to give boosts to fellow corp/fleet members? I've been in the game long enough, and done enough PVP to be able to bounce between safe spots. However, not everyone in High Sec, sets up safe points as most fleets mine in systems local to them.

Also, having done PVP. I also know that if you watch where the ship aligns too, and you have a faster ship, which you have to admit anything is faster than an Orca, you can beat them to the safe spot. Most players use moons, planets, or other belts, as location points... easy targets.

If the small corp has invested a lot of time, and isk, into building an Orca, they are going to be gutted to lose such a high value ship. For those corps its like a Nullsec PVP corp losing a Rorq or even a Carrier... gut-wrenching.
