If you wanna be able to solo the entire Arc I'd recommend using the Catalyst you got from the last advanced military career mission. It can quite easily be fitted to get the around 140 dps that's needed to break Dagan's insane shield. For most missions 8 Railguns are preferable but for Dagan 8 Blasters (Ion or Neutron depending on what you can fit) should be used.

For the missions before Dagan there is one with a Elite enemy that will drain your capacitor which can be quite annoying and which I actually found to be the hardest in the entire arc.

Soon to be Trading Alt. All future Forum activities will be conducted by Akane Togenada who for all purposes and until further notice shall be considered the "Main" of this player.

Even if you get problems killing the last guy dagan in his Gnosis you can just ask for help in local.

Dagan can be a pig to kill as a newbie, asking in local for help will normally result in somebody turning up in something hilariously overpowered to give you a hand; we've been there so we're happy to help. Another option would be teaming up with a fellow newbie and helping each other on your respective missions.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

That is exactly what happend to me. I asked for help in local and someone undocked a Nightmare and alphaed Dagan for me.

I was nearly appologizing for only bringing a Vexor when I helped some newbie myself for the first time. Big smile

I discovered that if you make a bookmark for where Dagan is, that you can contract it to another toon and they can log in, accept the contract, fly to the point and kill Dagan. The mission owner still has the rights to the kill and can then go back and recover Dagan for the faction turn in (assuming he goes back within two hours). The mission owner doesn't even need to be logged on at the time of the kill.

I though that the sisters of eve arc was the Project Discovery button but now I am doubting that it is. How do I start the story line? Sorry if I am being thick!!

Don't worry, it's not just you. I thought that for a while myself.

Just finished it the other day. Did most of it in my destroyer (Corax, I know, I know, but missiles) Bought and fitted a cruiser (Caracal) by the time I got to Dagan. All the advice I found suggested back up was essential, but I had a go in the Caracal and he melted. Then I was a good citizen and helped someone who was struggling before moving on.

I wouldn't worry too much about the 'best ship' for the job. It's designed to be accessible.
