What a rough way to start a new year lol

The great battle for catch took place today and lasted for about 11 hours, max local at F4 was at arround 4k pilots, TI was at arround 5-10% nomral time lol. The battle was between (for the sake of convenince) between Goons(ally) and TEST.

CTA was at 11am needed proteus doctrine, did not have it, 2 full fleets formed, about half and hour later roaming fleet formed.

tried to join a roaming fleet, could not find the proper comms, by the time got it working was chased a neut fleet, i was in a caracal thought i was fast enough to out warp ceptor, well kinda did not work out :P

rejoined roaming fleet, roamed in caracl/cane fleet and and try killing some cepttors but no avail, some time later on, in one of the systems near F4 somone spotted a cyno tengu, our fleet warped it and Tengu just warped in reinforcement, but they all bailed poor tengu and few other bastards died quickly

then we decided to camp 1P gate in F4, at this time arround 1pm the major battle was going on somewhere else and local was 4 k pilots, it looked as if there were double the reds on the gate, but after a while we noticed they started warping off, our small fleet of about 20 joined the camping crew of about 100-200 blues, the grind contiued for about 1 hour, then we decided to roma a bit more.

Between 2-3 pm noticed some fuking noob ships like ibis etc, jumping into the F4 as a super duper troll fleet, this was going on for like an hour or more LOL.

At arround 3-4 pm our fleet of 15-20 got back on 1P gate in F4, there were about 100 or more blues shooting trickling in forces of the reds of about 5-10 ships per wave. This massacare lasted for good 2-3 hours. The ships that were killed where avrg 500 m per ship.

Finally reds called in help and a bunch of ceptors,clyphers warped from other side of F4 and started hurting blues, few minutes later machariel fleet jumped to reinforce from 1P system, now it was about 100 blues vs 300-400 reds, thats when friendlies got welped hard. Most of the fleet gtfo to a station and i jsut warped in to the bloody gate from ressuply.

Mostly red can barely see any blues i am surrounded by bubble and was tackeld by like 5 ceptors, pointed and ECmed to boot, slowly was loosing shield, then noticed the reds stop focusing on me and keep focus firing blues at the gate. I am half way thru my armor in caracal, managed to get MWD going and got away from the last crow on my arcse, few minutes later warping safely to station after having 5 frigin tacklkes on me lol and a blob of red...crazy.

Then only few of us left it was about 8 pm, local was at arround 3k pilots, gate camps everwhere on approach to F4, joined some form of skirmish arround a station, i think i seen a bunch of caps duking it out, a decent presense of blues as well, reds started to seed from time to time few kills here few kills there, not sure what enemy was warping to but it was like few hundred kilometers from station and there was safari on any retreating forces.

Started seeing some AFK ships, local was down to about 2 k pilots, loki,legion,machs etc kept hunting what we could kill, some intercetros were forming in the hunting ground from time to time, at arround 9:30 pm local smack talk and kill mails of supers, few minutes later mass exodus of red fleet, kept warping to fleet tackles to clean up the area.

At arround 9:45 pm a bunch of blues finishing of a Fortizar, follwoing by a massive orange explosion.

Crazy day 4 k pilots, 11 hours of non stop PVP, t3 ships, faction battleships, bombers, buzzfleets, dreads,carriers and supercaps

Now thats a great sample of null PVP, gg, wp, gf

I feel like this is in the same vein as the battle in Asakai, sure there were plans and such but nobody thought it would be this big! People just kept on dogpiling, so chaotic..
