I have recently decided that I wish to start making enough stable ISK in EVE to sustain my PvP endeavours and to feel like I am no longer a "poor" capsuleer. As such I have begun my own industry network which is making good ISK and as such, I wish to scale up to increase profits.

I have been running my operation for a month now to ensure my numbers are correct, and work out ROI, however have hit the usual road block of running out of capital. That is where you (the investors) come in. Before we go further I must note that this loan will not have collateral. While I do have assets (estimated worth of ~15 bill), they are mostly locked up in either my current setup, or in ships for CTAs/personal use located in SOV 0.0, and as such difficult to use as collateral.

Loan Details
Amount: 3 Billion ISK
Interest: 4% per month
Collateral: None
Loan duration: 2 months

Risks
By far your biggest risk is that I have no loan history. I am usually not one to feel obligated to others and have thus far, lived happily on my small income for the 8+ years I have been playing this game. I am now at the stage where I wish to give back to my corp, and feel more self sufficient in game. As such I am looking for investors to help me begin my way into the industry/marketing side of EVE properly. Risks in my investment itself are minimal, the margins are good and the volume enough that my increase in production will not flood the market.

Why can't I use current ISK/assets?
I have indeed sold assets to create the capital for my current setup, however I wish to push this further now that I have seen how profitable it is, however I must maintain a level of assets to both enjoy EVE and be able to do my main play style in game of being an FC.

Happy to answer questions should you have them here.

Hello, to make any investors respond positively you would probably need to
a) provide tangible evidence that you're actively trading (EVE-Mogul or api or similar)
b) amp the interest rate to at least 10%
c) lower the loan amount

Thanks for your feedback Cista2, it's much appreciated since I've never done this before. Big smile

The 6 bill covers the purchase and setup of 2 additional POSes, materials and fuel for the first month, so this amount can be halved to 3 billion for one POS instead if that would make investors more interested.

I'm happy to provide API details on my Jita trader to show buy/sell of goods to support the legitimacy of the endeavor.

Unfortunately 10% is far more than I am willing to take on over such a long loan term. Perhaps some middle ground can be found. Lol

The thing is, you're basically asking for a hand-out while the person that 'loans' you their ISK takes all the risk. To make the risk worth-while, higher interest rates and lower initial loan would increase your odds.

No-one is saying that you will actually make a run for it after recieving the loan, but without collateral... You never really know for sure.

I understand the reasoning behind it, however paying 40-50% of the loan amount in interest is simply not worth it when I can reinvest my current profits for the same outcome, without the hassle of a loan.

I have amended my initial post to lower the loan amount, and shortened the loan duration. I guess starting off with these things is always the hardest step. Smile

I believe there are less than five people that have received public loans at 4% on this forum, without collateral, in the past 5-6 years.

Off the top of my head I can think of RAW and myself, I believe E Norn's public bonds have been at 5%. Proton Power had his big bond at 6%.
You are barking up a very tall tree or whatever the saying is :)

10% would mean 20% after your 2 month-loan is finished. I myself gave 20% per month on my first 2-month bond, but giving more than 10% really does not lower any suspicions these days.

If you live in Sov, why not make a bill or two the old fashioned way, through ratting/mining? I made 400-500 mill easy in the course of a week of relaxed mining/ratting back when i was in null.

Thank you for the information. I guess reading the last few pages of loans you can easily get the wrong idea since many are well under 4%, and for much higher amounts. It seems to be more of a big boys/returning loaners club than I first estimated it to be. The original duration of the loan was 4-5 months, hence the 50% in my earlier post.

Thanks for the suggestion Solonius, unfortunately I cannot spend hours ratting in game as my primary role in my corp and alliance is that of an FC, and as such I must put those responsibilities first. My current setup doesn't require much time investment and allows me to use my existing logistics networks to be competitive, which means I can still FC as needed.

Not quite, because those loans are all *with* collateral. It is two very different loan types. ANY player can get a loan at 2% with collateral :)
