Intergalactic Summit

I am mostly making this project public after it has been weighing heavily on my heart and mind. The project was started and conducted in secrecy. Even my affiliates with the Intaki Liberation Front are unaware of this research endeavor. The clandestine operation was conducted primarily out of a desire for confidentiality and, ultimately, an intense fear of consequences due to the controversial nature of the project.

To explain Projection Ascension briefly, it is a research endeavor spearheaded by myself and several other interested parties whom shall remain anonymous. The research focused exclusively on The Rise Incident of YC109, which is detailed more thoroughly in the research docket provided below. The goal of Project Ascension was to formulate a production method for a safe, non-addictive variant of the Rise drug distributed in the Placid region by its originator, Sundari Idama, with the assistance of the Serpentis Corporation (who will likely deny any involvement, typically).

With this in mind, I made a draft of the research docket - edited for brevity - publically available for all to see. I had intended to provide more, but having recently been awarded a medal of Meritorious Service by Suresha Sakaane of the ILF, I can no longer wear it as a badge of honor while conducting these experiments.

In conclusion, it is with great sadness that I must announce a betrayal of ILF ideals on my behalf. The Intaki Liberation Front has worked fervently over the course of a decade to reduce drug trade in Intaki and her surrounding territories, and despite this I made strides with which to resurrect a long dead drug solely to put it back into circulation among my people. No matter the intention, well-meaning or otherwise, this defied the very mission of the ILF.

As previously mentioned in the docket, experiments are conducted on a voluntary basis of those in good health, and all experiments conducted are stopped immediately when any pertinent harmful effects are found. That said, what failed methods have already been done are no longer ongoing, their reproduction steps utterly destroyed, and the volunteers and their families were given a healthy sum of ISK to live comfortably for the next forty years.

We're doing everything we can to ensure that we do not repeat the same mistakes of Sundari Idama.
