How to pull zkill data for most lost items in a system/alliance?

Is there a tool or script or api I could use via excel/spread sheet or other method?

I don't know about zkillboard api but I can suggest something under 'other method'.

Go to the Information Portal, the top sub forum, find the latest dev blog, Monthly Economic Report. Click the link to download the zipped data and look inside at KillDump.csv

Use the Import External Data menu dropdown in Excel and specify c.s.v. format, sort by solar system name / use a filter.

I haven't used Excel for a couple of years so I might have the name of the menu option wrong but it's something like that.

LibreOffice works too and doesn't cost 799$(USD) per license.
