As Alpha player I need to understand my skill and items limits so I run to the market and display all items then start reading all one by one. The first thing I found is a clear restriction between Alpha and Omega items. Then I try of filter list between Alpha and Omega using Market filters but close filter I have found it's "Filter due my skills". Of course that's not what I need so I turned off.

If Alpha can see their limits due market restrictions they can plan what skills to train or not. Otherwise they must research between all market able items.

Market filter that display Alpha able items is my suggestion for next patch.

I'm surprised they haven't already added one really.

Look at the Ship Tree. It will show you which ships you can fly as an Alpha character.

Pick a ship you are interested in and look at the info sheet. It will tell you what skills you need and how long it will take to train them. Look at the mastery tab. That will show recommended skills for 5 levels of mastery - As Alpha I believe you will be limited to mastery level 2. The info sheet will show the skills you need and how long it will take to train them. The mastery certificates are generic - if you have Core Spaceship Operation mastery level 2 for any ship, you have it for all of them.

The traits tab on the info sheet will show the bonus you get for each level of the hull skill - generally worth training as high as you can.

Right click the ship in the ship tree and select simulate. Try some fits - modules you have the skills to use will be framed in blue, if you don't have the required skill they will be framed in red. Right click the red modules and open the info sheet - it will tell you what skills you need and how long it will take to train them.

Mastery certificates used to be available in the skill section of the character sheet but I don't see them on the new one.
