I've searched the forms and I seem to be the only one bringing this up.
I started the Eve launcher to play and it says that I need to update the eve launcher...ok np.
So I follow the link and I'm taken to a page that seems to indicate that I've got to reinstall the entire game.
Well as it turns out thankfully, I don't But the time I wasted trying to find an answer has me pissed off.
As a programmer this is kind of lazy programming. Make it clear that a reinstall isn't needed.
So thank you for not making us reinstall the game in its entirety but please make it more clear that that's the case.

Same issue with the new launcher occurred for me.

The launcher also seems clunky in that there is no clear indication of what to do, or what is happening, when I click to start the game.

There is a list of players with checkboxes to the left and then a play button at the bottom left. When I click the play button nothing happens for a while, I have to trust that something does.

The checkbox seems counterintuitive in that I would tick that to select the character to play, but instead it quits the launch.

I'd like a one click launchpad.

fun fact. the launcher has a button that runs the exe file and once logged in it tells you that the exe file is unsupported and that you should always log in through the launcher
