Certificate error has occured.

Trying to open up EVE this morning I am met with the following error.

A certificate error has occurred:

Server's certificate does not match the URL.

It will open the launcher for a moment then immediately close. Restarting the PC had no effect neither did troubleshooting compatability. Any workarounds?

Same here, no info how to fix it.




EDIT: Manually removing cashe and reinstalling eve works.

HOWEVER i have a different certificate error than the op. or at least the image link they give is different.

Same issue. I got the "A certificate error has occurred" error message when i opened the launcher. But, i pressed 'Cancel' twice then i managed to start the game and log in.

Its now fixed for my client as well. Didn't do a thing.
