Client Crashing - Narrowed

Everything updated the way it should be, client is crashing on my iMac. Multiple windows open, only current active one crashes when iMessage tries to display a message I just received. Every single time, tested by sending myself a message also, in windowed mode.

i don't want to hijack your post, but i'm having crashes, saying that exefile failed, usually when i launch my scanning probes (lost 3 sets of sister probes today:)
console says:

17/12/16 14:54:40,177 rive_c/tq/bin/exefile.exe[1044]: exefile.exe(1044,0xfa189000) malloc: *** mach_vm_map(size=33554432) failed (error code=3)
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

SO weird, I googled crash/scanner probes and the same thing is happening to me

Non-stop crashing here. Gates, undocking - even planetary interaction. I'm literally getting 2 crashes per hour - it's beyond ridonkulous.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
