Is there a way to get back to low/high sec when you have only aboard scanner. So no probes?

1. Self-destruct your ship.

2. Ask someone else to probe out an exit for you. However, 1. in all likelyhood has the same results and it much faster.

Basically, you have to wait until someone is in the wormhole with you, then ask in local if someone is willing to help you (perhaps in exchange for a financial compensation for their effort?). Perhaps you get lucky and they are nice.

Other than that, no.

Oh yes they can, in local. And they'll laugh all the way to the exit WH.

the one time I got stuck i found a person nice enough to provide me with an exit

it did take a day or two however. luckily it was not my main toon, if it was i would have self-destructed due to impatience.

if you have the time/patience to sit around and wait for someone in local you might as well. either a) they are nice and provide you with an exit or b) it's a trap and they pod you in which case you end up in highsec anyway.

First, let everyone know what system you're in. J######? Then wait....and wait.....and wait. Wormnav has a locator feature to inform people who look up information about your system that you're interested in contacting them. Expect to wait a while. Hopefully you have an alt you can do something else with during that time. Otherwise you're only option is to self-destruct and take a express train to Jita.

But telling us you're trapped with no other information is not going to help you at all.

Don't ban me, bro!

Which system is it? I logged off in wormhole space last night and might be able to help you (can't remember the name myself right now Oops )

When I was in a C3 I would often help people out, no cost... but it was all dependent on their billboard. So if they had killed people in various wh's, ie went out hunting for targets , they would have to find their own way out. Don't find many people lost in a C5, so haven't needed to assist anyone for a while.

Yeah, self-destruct is the quick way.

In my early days I got stranded in a pod and someone in local took pity on me and got me out. Wormhole dwellers tend to be wary of strangers, but I've found they can be among the most helpful in Eve if they decide you're not a threat.

edit: if you're stuck inside in a ship, park the ship in a safe spot, rename it to something humorous, and eject before podding yourself. You just might give the residents a laugh.

I got stuck in a C4 once, in a Hurricane. About 4 residents uncloaked right near me in a variety of killer ships - I expected a fight to ensue in which I would have not stood a chance. Instead, they offered to purchase the fully fitted Cane off me, rather than destroy it in a fight, as they didn't have a convenient route out that often. The price they offered was small, but better than having it shot out from under me. I gave them the ship and good as their word, they deposited the isk. So there I was in a pod, and they said that either I could self destruct, or they would let me wait in the system until they had a good route out, but it could well be days (they had no static to k-space, sadly). I elected to destruct, but it goes to show you do sometimes find friendly players and it may be possible to bargain with them using your ship.

Cool story. Having lived in a C3 with no K-Space static, I completely understand what they were thinking. Also, it gets pretty lonely in there after a while. Sometimes it's just nice having someone else to talk to. I bring a volleyball with me now.

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

Wow! That'd be neat. All the C3s i've ever been in had k-space, or known-space, static wormholes. So many, in fact, that I had come to believe that C3s only ever had k-space statics. It's great that you found one that didn't. Fantastic ... do you remember the system's name?

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Singing songs in local and/or linking Pony pictures is a great way to get potential hostiles to help you find a way out instead of shooting you. Attention

I once watched guys from a K162 come in scout about , think it was empty , they came in with 3 bs to do sites , I promptly closed their hole then charged them 300m for an exit to lowsec.

In short unless you have the isk you will need to selfdestruct.
