All,

I just returned after a 10 year 'break' and am going through the tutorial with my old character. I am at the point of the mini skill injector, however it says that I cannot use it as it will not work for characters with over 1.5 million skill points, however I only have 1.1 million. Is there any way past this?

Found a workaround, writing here in case anyone else comes across the bug.

Just use your existing skill points to complete a skill and it will jump you ahead a few steps.
