Ok, who at CCP changed something?

Approximately two months ago this exact issue occurred, see this thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=495843

I was playing EvE fine right before DT..... I try to log on after DT and hey ho - a socket closed message.

Like before I get to the character selection screen, only after selecting my toon does it hang on a black screen and then come up with the error.

After character select character screen -> blank screen -> socket was closed. It was working fine about 2 hours ago (that was after DT). Came back to play more, there was a launcher update (that I found weird, after all I had already played after DT and there was no launcher update). After that, can't get back into the game anymore.

All the same here too :(

If I try to login an Alpha account, I am told I cannot log in without upgrading, I assume this means the system thinks my Omega account is logged in ... or maybe something is just borked!

Quoting myself to mention that a windows reboot seems to have cured all my ills!

CCP doesn't make mistakes ;)

Seems they have reintroduced it again, this time with less people effected..... Hope you guys get a solution, one of my corpies keeps getting this.... #badCCP.

Exactly the same issue here as well. :(

All was fine before. Was able randomly login two times all other attempts ends with "The Socket Was Closed"...

Unlikely it will be fixed till Monday?

I'm new in EVE, should I send bug report to Support or since it was already posted here not worth to disturb them with that once again?

Same problem as the poster.

Cannot even post from my Fedora 25 (was working perfectly before DT).

Same network, Win7 OK, Linux totally denied by CCP (I can read posts and log in in the forums, nothing more).

Again, I was playing it flawlessly before launcher update.

Waiting for a solution, since the note screen is not the best place to play EVE.

Edit: LogLite always show: Failed to get a valid ballpark in time after trying 30 times.
