Can I redeem 250.000SP on a TRANSFERRED character? [RESOLVED]

I want to take advantage of the 100€/yr sub for new accounts because all I get is 131€/yr on this account,


I want to transfer my main character to a new (invited by myself) account for 20€ and let the original account expire.



Can I transfer an eligable character onto a new account as soon as I create and activate it?

And can I redeem 250.000SP on the transferred character when the transfer has been finalized?



If no then what exactly prevents this?


edit: To clarify I want to:

1. Invite myself
2. Create a new invited 2nd account
3. Activate 2nd account with 100€/yr subscrtiption promo
4. Take my main Character (Wuro) from 1st account and pay 20EUR to trasfer him to the 2nd account and wait 10hrs for transfer to complete.
5. Redeem free PLEX on 1st account to sell for ISK
6. Redeem 250.000SP on 2nd account on a newly transferred character (Wuro)

Are there any obstacles which I am not aware of, or is it a solid plan?

If the SP is character bound then yes. If it's acct bound then no.

That's the best I can do not knowing the promo and the way you worded your OP.

The 250,000 skill points will be in the redeem system in the form of a skill-book, the moment its dropped on the character it is applied so It may work as you say if CCP didnt apply any restriction to it, but .....

Just talked to GMs on Rookie Help and they said that you can 1. recruit yourself 2. transfer your characters to your new recruited accounts.


3. And that I can redeem 250.000 SP on my transferred character on the new account.

Silly me , you would lose money if doing it every month for the 250k skill points, it would be cheaper to buy Skill Injectors.
But it can indeed save if done yearly. Save 11euro and get free skill points

Guess you can now try it (if ingame GM understood what you want to do) and see if the 250K skillbook can be applied to a 1.5million or higher character.

The offer they have for upgrading from Alpha to Omega is very good, $8.33 / month if you go for the 6 month or 12 month packs, AND you get some swag on top of that.

BUT, you're doing all the gymnastics with your account and character transfers just about 1 week before CCP turns on the Christmas festivities, as they just announced.

I would be willing to bet that they will have discounts on subscriptions to go along with that, starting next week. They may not be as good as $8.33 / month, so by all means go ahead, but they may be good enough to just take the discount and avoid a character transfer.

Anyway, 1 more week of "patience", is all I wanted to say.

Just posting that character transfer was completed successfully on a newly invited and activated account.

I redeemed the 250.000SP on that transferred character (5.7m total SP) with no problems, Plus received additional goodies with combined price of about 25 million.

On top of that my old character on a new account was given a chance to complete the NPE tutorial mission but it got stuck on the mini-skill injector part which I couldnt use due to 1.5m limitation, so I just sold it for extra 50 million.

So all in all I paid 120 EUR and received 360 days of game time (recurring for 100€); 1.1 billion ISK from PLEX and goodies and 250.000 SP
