Think about how many people you have set Blue, Light Blue, Orange, and Red for all their respective standings. In massive fleet fights and even small engagements color identification of targets is much quicker than reading an alliance/corp ticker on the Overview.

I am suggesting today that more color tag options, like the Blue (Great), Light Blue (Good), Orange (Bad), Red (terrible) be implemented. However unlike how these primary colors are tied to standings, I am proposing that new color tags should be standalone and not be tied to standings, and instead be assigned to contacts groups.

Solid color "boxes" (we we see them in chat/local windows) be assigned to contact groups so you can see those Off Grid Boosters when they jump in, or those known Blops hunters, and even infamous Falcon alts.

To begin, I suggest we include the current colors of the Overview colortags and perhaps even the HTML Hex coloring enabled in biographies, titles, etc.

I think that (what seems to be) a small implementation such as this will provide more reliable and less ambiguous methods of identification of entities within Eve.

+1, I've wanted this forever - just some way to drop a visual "note" on someone in a way that isn't tied to the standings system would be grand.

I would settle for a poop icon I can assign to people who make new AFK cloaking threads.
