What should I fit up to against Amarr missions?

Here is my question... I want to do missions in Amarr space, security based missions. I will be armor tanking, but I was wanting to know what should I set my resistances to?

Is it mostly Laser based enemies in Amarr space? If so, then I should raise my EM and Thermic resistances, correct?

I'm looking to train for the Paladin, which I am close to. Just want to be able to do level 4s with no issues taking everything on.

Thanks

Rat specific tank or omni. You will mostly face em/therm but you might also face some other dmg types.

If you move around different faction's space while your doing your missions, you might as well keep some hardeners covering every resist in your hold. I keep 2 of each damage type plus an invuln for drone missions and stuff like dread pirate Scarlet.

Even in Amarr space you will still get merc missions and sometimes angel extravaganza, as well as dread pirate scarlet where you will be facing off against rats of every faction, so coming prepared is always a good idea.

Just so you know, you'll need t2 laser skills and fit a faction repper(cpu reqs) to paladin to be effective. You'll gimp your dps if u try to cap stabilise it. So better try with an apoc until u get a feel for amarr missions and rats before paladin.

Oh look, a truly ignorant member of the "Minmatar are overpowered" club. Do let us know how fitting 1400s to a Varg works out for you.

It's great, all you have to do is fit an RCU II (or two)

Im living in amarr-space since a while now an I run only security-type missions. to my experience, the most frequent opponents are bloodraider, drones or sansha.

however, I also get the assault vs. guristas or angel extra quite frequently, so you will want to have the Kin/Exp-resists at hand for a quick re-fitt as well.

With my abaddon, I found the tank good enough for any L4 mission with active Exp/Kin-tank fitted, since I am lazy and the EM/Therm resists are already quite well on armor. o/c if you want to switch mission-specific, EM/Therm is required more frequently then kin/exp.
