just sayin lol. its free and i still dont wanna harvest asteroids to buy a bigger ship to put my bigger guns on so that i can pew pew bigger ai enemies. cant believe people paid for this really.

Sad but true

Unless you enjoy cheesing rage out of random and unknown gamers, there's zero reason to play this "game" (which is really a Schadenfreude generator)

Any activity that doesn't include an emotional zero-sum game (pvp in this game: having fun means robbing people of hours of grind if not more), puts you at a severe disadvantage as there is a crowd actively chasing people who mind their own business -pve-. Try fighting back when pve fit.

CCP could introduce arenas, in which fights would actually be meaningful and balanced, and there are very good financial reasons why they won't do it.

Please explain how introducing arenas (while not touching anything else) would make it very different
If anything, it would add more sand in the sandbox, create gladiatorial dynamics, and be an incentive for the pvp-averse to indulge in pvp

There are very good reasons arenas aren't implemented even though the tournaments are loved by all the playerbase, and I'd be very surprised if you could explain them

people who are intrigued by eve still are underdeveloped which is ironic because they pride themselves on being more developed than other MMO players. Saying a MMO player is developed to begin with is hilarious tho. I could grind all day but I can see past the moderately pretty graphics and realize im pointing and clicking and ai enemies than only know how to move towards you and fire over and over again. asteroids dont even do that. and nope im not gonna pvp so some scrub who has been camping there for hours can set me back to the previous steps that i already refuse to do. LOL. im all for games that punish death and defeat. i loved in the original phantasy star for dreamcast that when you died you dropped your gun so people could steal it for example but for people to act like this kinda **** is mature its also laughable. id rather masturbate and harass women.

TBH - why? You already have a system in place to do everything - in fact, RvB did (still does? dunno, would have to check) exactly this and more. And you have duels system too, nowadays.

But then again, this requires actual work on your side to get into, right ? ;>

First part - underdeveloped ? What do you mean exactly? Underdeveloped in gaming? I prefer social interaction and building something with people, instead of relying on mechanics - how's that underdeveloped? IRL? Im 37, got a family, a steady job, and zero debt - so I'm probably, statistically, quite well rounded.

If you mean buying omega access, If the accounts did not activate properly to full access, you should file a support ticket under "billing" - there are some known problems with that, which are being taken care of by devs/gms atm.

If you are on alpha access, you will not have access to everything you had trained untill you buy omega access. This is by design - alpha is meant to be an time-unlimited, feature-limited free trial of the game, not the full free game access.

Me to! actually did last night through STEAM, thought why not. Eagerly anticipated jumping back in my anathema and 'learn' things again.

Realized that half my modules are unusable, and i was unable to undock my ship.. transparently advising me that one cannot fly / use said modules because I haven't handed any money over.

Oh.

Vicious circle. Wont subscribe until I get to fly my ships to see if I like it... can't fly ships until I subscribe.

Oh.

Bit mean locking me out of all my favorite ships! :(
