Warframe has gotten 214 votes in the last two days, and EVE has gotten 7. Pathetic (I think at least 4 of the last 7 have been mine.)

I guess the players of Warframe like their game more than the players of EVE like theirs.

Putin now already has to make Russia as well as the US great again (since he will be ruling both), but now Eve as well ? Come on, give him a break.

Atleast the top contenders are pretty ok. The fact that ES:O have more then 2.000 votes is a travesty since it's easily the biggest letdown in MMO:s I have ever had. Bethesda really dropped the ball when they let a bunch of newbies take control of their franchise game.

Maybe this will help:

I have an ESO account. Its a disaster compared to EVE.

This is self-serving marketing trash of no consequence.
Every pointless game review site is trying to push their own various "awards" as if they matter.
They pump site advertisement money into hack reviewers that write crap articles on the last night of the deadline with usually barely any time played in the game in question.

I despise these sites.

Maybe they hope they will get free stuff, exclusive interviews or paid passes to events.
In anycase, they are half a55ed producers of no relevant/valuable content.

These polls mean nothing. Its nonsense.
EVE players dont have to justify how great this game is by polling on each of 100 different irrelevant review sites, every year, for a meaningless accolade. Every year, they create more categories, and hence more awards. Cos.

Even on that site, EVE is wiping the table in the Sandbox category with over 100% more votes to competitors.

All that matters, is if people pay to play a game.
If people pay to do that, that is the highest accolade, and the most functional to a games future and development.

EVE is an unmitigated, long lasting success, because they have a good product, not cos some nonsense site polls them to be,

Yes, I am ranting. But I am so disappointed and jaded on how low the journalistic integrity of game review sites has gotten. Even in the 90s it was bad, when PCGAMER ruled supreme as a paper publication. Back then a single published reviewer could make or break a games future. For example they wrecked Privateer II: The Darkening, which imo was one of the best, functional, most progressive games in its genre, ever. Then they did the same to the Microsoft backed "Freelancer", again, cos they had idiots reviewing them.

But now, its even worse.
F**k em.

Instead of reading crap articles by overpaid hacks looking for a cheap easy buck on a games reputation, talk to the people that actually play the game.

5-10mins of looking at the games own forum will give you much more information.
