ABILITY TO CHANGE GENDERS

Recently my post in "General Discussions" asking the community about their opinions on this was shut down because it was "disruptive in nature" and "provoked players". Completely lost and confused about the new "definition" on trolling, I come here and ask all of you that we request an ability to change genders.

Many are saying I'm doing this because I'm a troller but no, I simply do this because I want to change one of my characters' gender to male. That should not be considered an outlandish request? Considering the advancement of today's society and CCP's usual forward-thinking tendencies, it really shouldn't be something out of the ordinary to change genders.

Cant see a problem with this, but why do you want to change your chars gender so much?

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

Possibly because it has no gameplay impact at all and the amount of people who'd use it isn't enough to make it worth doing.

Exactly that. SInce it would have no impact at all, shouldn't it be implemented? I have no experience in coding at all, and correct me if I'm wrong, but if you can already resculpt your character, shouldn't changing your gender be even easier as it mainly is a cosmetic thing as well?

I don't have a problem with this, assuming that you keep the same name. Have fun being a dude named Mrs. Always Right. I think people are opposed to it because they think the next step is people asking for name changes.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Why not have it as part of the resculpting option?

It even works EvE lore wise.

Not necessarily. In my line of work there is a mantra that goes 'effort must be equitable'. Which means don't waste time on the small things unless the effort to do it is even smaller.

And? Who cares if people want to cross dress. It's not exactly going to affect any in game stats.
The only reason I'd be against cross dressing is because I know how EVE character models work and therefore the work needed to enable it would be vast.
However assuming the Resculpt option uses the same code as the character creator, changing Gender isn't a huge coding process, they just have to jump back a step in the character creator. Therefore I see it as a low work good reward scenario for CCP to enable gender changes, resculpts are not unlimited after all, and are purely cosmetic, your gender gives you no bonuses and changing it doesn't matter (Unless you are cybering really).
It's not like changing a name, because you don't recognise people via face in EVE anyway.

I'm against gender change.
In such that if done.
Character become some "third" thing monster type visually.

and it's ugly and permanent and is a dice role type face body disaster hormone imbalance.

I am against name change.

Changing gender should not be allowed. becoming a medical disaster could be.

If done people will see you did it. with there eyes.

And a gender flag icon applied to the portrait. for the shame factor.
role play fun too.

well no psychologically your gender even in something as insignificant as a portrait can make a difference and does indeed matter.
