T2 Shield Industrial Substantially Cheaper

So deep space transports both minmatar and caldari are that much cheaper than amar or gallente types, is there a pragmatic reason for that or is it just gallente and amar industrials being more popular at t1?

There is not much difference in build cost - basically fluctuation in the price of advanced components. Price differences will reflect local supply/demand. I see the same thing with T3 destroyers which all have the identical bill of material. Right now anyone selling Hecate in Jita will be pocketing 20% more than the people selling Svipul!

could also just be a supply/demand thing...as some are more popular than others.

For example, you can get the Impel to over 1mil EHP (not cheap of course)...can't do that with the other deep space transports...so makes it a bit more popular

I think remember seeing difference of 50 mil being fairly consistent by the tank type. Could some one point at the shittiest of them as to how it's price may actually justify using it.

One may only have 1 racial trained up usually a good reason.

My case I didn't train caldair for the transports on a halter alt. She trained for charon which before freighter changes long ago was one of the better liked freihgters. Nor sure if still...sold mine off long ago and use other means for hauling. Orca does me fine for larger loads needs these days tbh.


Main I cross trained all races most sub cap classes but only caldari transports on him as well. Never saw a need to go all racial on transports.
