Add the Elite drone AI to the LP store please

Dead CCP you finaly give the rorq some love it deserved and you like to have the rorqual in the field doing his thing and be usefull in mining aswel with the new excav's, im very happy wirth this all.
Tho, it might be a good idea to let people actualy go there, for now most are still in station waiting for the elite drone AI to be more acceseble it has become a reather VERY expensive comodity for now reflecting in the current price of the Excav's
Could it be posseble that for the time beeing some Excess supply of the elite drone ai is beeing sold to people via the LP market untill the market is a tad more stable?

CCP doesn't set prices, the players do.

Go read a book on economics, what's happening here is perfectly natural. Whenever you have demand for an item suddenly increase without a corresponding increase in supply, it causes price spikes. These will stabilize over time. Until then, I might recommend actually fitting a combat ship and undocking to try and capitalize on the price spike. It's a far better use of your energies than whining on forums.

The initial purchase price is set by CCP, once they start being traded between players the seller sets the price.

The seller, CCP aren't the only people selling them; hunting around I can get PLEX for the pretty much the same price as a sub through one of CCP's authorised sellers

Economics 101, if a product is in demand and the supply is limited the seller will sell it at the highest price they can get away with.

Congratulations. You noticed two of the three things in game that CCP actually does set minimum sell prices for. The other one you missed was skillbooks.

Three categories out of the many, many more is your representative sample?

Elite drone AIs are a loot item, therefore price is 100% determined by players.

Anyone else remember the billion isk Confessor market orders when they first came out?
Or how the price of capital rigs spiked when CCP announced adding rig slots to freighters? (and the speculators getting butthurt when feedback caused them to be changed to low slots)

Sorry, Pat, but market shenanigans are simply a part of EvE. If you don't like what someone is charging for something on the market, there's nothing stopping you from going out to get it yourself.

So are you saying you want a price-tag on a faction item reduced because you think you deserve extra rare gear for less than it is now?

But for every pvper in the game the "extra" we have to pay for faction or deadspace or purple mods is okay since we are the ebil pivates who could kill your innocent mining boat with them?

Choose your words carefully now. And think about it, could there be intent behind this artificial bottleneck?


What you are asking for is equivalent to putting Gallente military captain III tags in the LP store, which in turn would make the rare drops kinda moot.


I however are very happy that my hoarder skills finally paid of and my many years of mission running gave me a nice pay-day.

I don't understand why you complain? For years since the removal of the goo drops, people have been complaining about the drone lands being worthless and pay less money for ratting than in other pirate NPC space. Now CCP actually made these AI things useful and created a demand for them, thus making ratting in the drone lands more worthwhile, and you have nothing better to do than to suggest CCP should quench that income right away? Just rat more in Drone Patrols to get more, saturate the market sooner and lower the prices. CCP could also introduce more sources, but putting these in an LP store from where they could flood the market and make them worthless again, is not a solution.
