Hey, I'm an old player back to see how the game changed. Got stunned from the beggining that the tutorial starts showing your character. When i was playing, years ago, you couldnt see your character, lol.
Anyways, created a character fast to see the cosmetic changes and things seems pretty good so far. I'd like a 60 days trial key if anyone has, so i can start making a new character and build it forward. Btw, regarding character creatin, when i played in the past, there was a pre-established character creation which would give you an advantage from the beggining, against the other new characters (skill build). There is such a thing still available?

Thanks!

nope, they killed off the racial benefits a while back (IIRC, when they got rid of learning implants).

as to your second question, yes.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Well, now i am on the 14-day trial. Do i apply the 60 day trial code to my current account? Does it also add those 60 to the 14 days or how?

Silly questions i know, but i stopped playing games since some time and now im getting back, starting with EVE

no.

there are three trial "packages"
14d (standard)
21d (buddy invite -- my perks for you subbing are PLEX or 30d game time for free)
60d (extended, special trial for you ... no perks for the existing player)

all three of these are separate trial accounts, and would be set up with separate usernames/toons/etc.

If you have any time remaining on a trial account when you sub, you get ([RT] + 30d) of time before you have to pay again.

NOTES:
1. [RT] is the remaining trial time
2. the +30d assumes that you're doing a monthly sub or PLEX to activate. You can also sub up using 90, 180, or 365 day sub periods if you so choose.

Yup on all points Velicitia pointed out

New characters now are mostly cosmetic or backstory/RP purposes. Other then that every character is only a few hours away from being in the same state as any other race staring out (racial frigate and their preferred turret weapon)

They also removed learning skills and just gave everyone the attributes. You actually trains VERY SLIGHTLY slower than with maxed learning skills but it's still great from a new player perspective.

When was it last that you played EVE? we can help show ya what you've missed ^^

Oh well, i may be wrong, but it may be about 3/4 years ago. I remember there was no expansion launched and that i could play the game on a computer with 512mb RAM and PLEX was worth somewhere around 150-200 mil ISK. Anyway, i wasnt a hardcore player so i played for like 3 months, but with logging in maximum 1-2 hour/s per day. Thanks for all the info!

No 60 days key anyone? Roll
