Yes I think I ran into this guy too.

Did he write "URGAYPWNED!!!!!" in local, after he killed your friend?

Let me say that many of the posters here in this forum also cried about station camping and argued station camping was a good reason to have station lock outs in faction war.

But that said the insta-undock is a good way to deal with this. It is a PIA to set these up I agree and therefore I generally just accept that I will lose the occasional pod or ship. But if you are in a station where you don't have one set up then you can stop your ship and then wait out the session timer and instantly redock. You can then get in a pod.

I think the best way to deal with them is to try to kill them. You want to get a scanning ship to give you a warp in. Most of these ships will not be able to kill a small ship orbiting them tight. They also have allot of fitting dedicated to instalocking. Warping a t2 af is generally a good way to hold them down.

Also keep in mind that warping to zero at station does not always warp to zero at station. Sometimes you will warp just outside of docking and you can then have your pod or ship instapopped. You can prevent this by having instadock bookmarks. These are bookmarks that are very far in the docking radius (but not so close to station that you bounce off of it) You can then warp to the book mark and spam dock.

Station camping is overall pretty sh but it can also be fun for both sides.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

It's odd though, I was taught twenty. I've never heard thirty before, apparently I'm not alone in this. Somehow, this is someone else's fault and if science should be put to use, it should be to exonerate me.
Rofl, I heard conflicting info too, so I took a few minutes to test it with an alt and a stopwatch.

For the greater glory of galmil docking games, of course!

Same as the 'invulnerability after exiting warp', which many knowledgable people (mostly outside of FW and not used to warping into complexes every day) thought was a myth. It isn't obviously, you can't be targeted for exactly 10s from the moment you land out of warp (speed gauge turning to normal figures, instead of saying 'warping'), if you don't do anything yourself.

Testing is fun, look up Azual Skoll's tracking formula test or his drones dps application test, good stuff.

Works only when you dont have any active Modules running as you land, but i never tested it out with active modules myself, only got told it won´t work.

Maybe you should learn some game mechanics before you cry on the forums and make yourself look like a fool.

With a properly set up insta, you aren't going to die to people camping a station; "your friend" died to the most easily avoidable hostile situation.

It isn't difficult or even inconvenient to set up insta undocks for stations you frequent. It takes about 30 seconds to do with an interceptor; undock when it is safe and activate your mwd, wait until you are 150 km+ from the station, hit cntrl + b and create a new bookmark.
Before you leave a station, open your bookmarks folder. When you undock right click -> warp to your insta; it is really that simple.

Omega clone status isn't going to do anything for you if you can't take a mistake as an educational experience. Rather than acting emotionally and calling for a change in game mechanics you barely understand, take a step outside yourself and ask "what did I learn from this?" as well as "what could I have done differently to survive?"

Chokepoint control is a huge part of any warfare; htfu and adapt.
