Will we ever see cross-faction, navy or pirate industrials/transports?

I'd love to see non-alliance tournament faction industrials. Skinning my Occator with Syndicate skin is neat, but I'd like to see what sort of ideas CCP could come up with for faction industrials.

Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

You remember the battle badger?
Meet the Poddinator.
A DST meets all the fun of a marauder, but for medium class modules.
This, this might actually tank a gank.

Ha who am I kidding, you don't tank, you just be elsewhere when the death ball arrives.

I support this idea as it allows the carebears to opt for even more expensive losses.

....not sure, faction industrials don't really have much of a purpose, I'm not sure beyond what is available now that it is needed, maybe one to compress ore so traveling to a Citadel or EC isn't necessary so that the mining op could stay out longer, but mostly I don't really think that it is needed at all.

There's a _lot_ more variation in industrial ships than there once was... particularly if you're in gallente. So much variation in fact they should have almost certainly moved most of them into the Ore Industrial skill and made it alpha-available.

My idea was to make the bonuses split to a generic industrial and the faction skill with faction being the specialized hold bonus and the generic bonus being the speed/agility bonus.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

But what are your ideas?

What about tech 3 ORE industrial? With customizable cargo bays? That would probably make any other industrial obsolete, but hey its a new ship! Yaaaaay...

I don't know if you were around back when there were no specialised transport ships, there were what, 12+ T1 haulers each one only differing by slot layout and a percentage bonus... It was a complete waste.

Then CCP changed them all to the specialised ships and suddenly it became viable for people to have cheap, accessible haulers that meant you didn't have to do 3 trips in a Badger just to haul 60k of minerals from your mining barge, or your POCO.

Them being cheap is part of their appeal. Let's not expect people to pay 150m for a faction hauler just to go back to what they already have now.

That always goes down like a lead balloon (See: Hurricane Fleet Issue)
