Null space bubble resistant pod

Eve is all about balance and counters. I have yet to consider living in null space because of one factor. BUBBLES. I have no issue with bubbles as the serve their purpose, but if your ship gets killed in a bubble there is 100% chance your pod is dead too. Many of us veteran players use implants and many of us use implants to the point that some if not many of our ships wouldn't work without the implants. I propose making a bubble resistant pod that is available to buy. The trade off, as everything in eve must have a trade off, is to have that bubble resistant tech put into a pod you have to alter the actually warp drive thus making it smaller, thus making it slower. So cut the pod speed in half to 1.5. You might get away but it will take you forever to get back home LOL.

1st: post with your main.

2nd: Nope, not agreeing with your idea. If you're that afraid of losing implants, fly either with no implants, or keep an empty jumpclone handy.

Agreed.

Bubbles already have counters:

- interdiction nullified ships
- jump clones

Apparently you don't realize that bubbles are the only thing that can catch a pod being flown by an active pilot. Pods insta-warp, which means that unlike most other ships, there's zero chance of you pointing a pod before it warps off the gate.

Your risk aversion doesn't need buffed.

Saw the topic, came here to post exactly this.

Alternatively, grow a pair and risk your implants.

If my clone with nice implants loses his ship during a roam or fleet fight, if I live long enough to get off grid, I safe up, then have an alt with an empty clone bring him a travel Interceptor. This requires me to exert some effort to stay safe. Effort is a good thing.

OP, your idea is bad and you should feel bad. The only way capsules would die is when AFK or to smartbombs. You would probably ask for a nerf to those too.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
