But isn't this all your fault.

Shouldn't you be out demanding alpha license fees from the alphas and then blowing them away for not having 10 mill?

I mean after CCP went to all the trouble to give you a study saying players need ganking in their first 15 days.

Too busy ganking miners in barges and exhumers to be bothered helping CCP and ganking newbies.

The CSM gets in the way of CCP communicating properly with the players of this game.

After all we are not just players, we are customers.

Time for the CSM to be disbanded.

I completely agree.

I think part of the problem is the value of time/isk is not quite the same for Alphas as it is for the rest of us. I think if people understand how much time/effort it takes to get that shiny new hull they want, and then someone comes around and blaps it out of their hands, all the better - it fuels that desire to get better stuff, better skills, and go on a revenge killing spree. That's when you really start to have fun.

i dunno about all this. i came to eve via a dust 514 alliance with a 21 day free trial. subbed after the first 10 hours and like the guy before me said....i'm learning new things daily.

all this said i realize that eve comes from humble beginnings like pong. yes, i paid a quarter to play it.

Seems to me you will enjoy a more in-your-face space game. Star Citizen maybe?
Although the UI indeed feels outdated and is not immersive at all, the ships, damage states and explosions are pretty cool looking though. I just wish this game had a more usable first person mode.

Anyway, still enjoying my alpha clone as the complexity of this game also comes with a lot of depth to discover. The more I find out about ship fittings for instance, the more I realize the endless tactical possibilities.

NEW PLAYERS WHO READ THIS!! AS FOR HELP!! EVEN THE WORST OF US SPACE PIRATES WILL TAKE A MINUTE OR TWO TO ANSWER BASIC QUESTIONS. Why? Because this is EVE and we where all new once.

Also new players who spend money. Nothing about EVE gets better when you spend real money. No9thing about EVE gives incentive to pay real money beyond the sub. if you are going to do it know what you are going to use the influx of isk for.

This is a perfect example of how Eve isn't for everybody. On the other hand, it's the ONLY MMO I enjoy. New pilots shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that the game sucks just because YOU don't like it. Different games appeal to different people. Fortunately we live in a world with a vast array of game choices. A wall of text isn't necessary. Just find what work for you.
