Hello, New Eden!

It's that time once again! After the incredible success of the first snowball fight, the second snowball fight, and the absolute runaway success of the third snowball fight, we're doing it again! Yet another snowball fight in Luminaire for the holidays! For live events! For New Eden! For you!

In the spirit of the holidays, for the sake of events and gatherings, I'm hosting a player gathering during which pilots can strap Festival Launchers to their ships and launch snowballs and fireworks at each other-again!

Snowball Fight Details:
Luminaire VII - Moon 6 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant
18-DEC-16, Sunday
2100 EVE Time (Note the time change!)

We have an ISKStarter campaign online!
*Any donations in the ISKStarter campaign or directly to me will be used to fund prizes and equipment for the event!


* If you need snowballs, fireworks, or a Festival Launcher, we have plenty of spares from previous snowball fights!


* EVE Radio has confirmed their support! Tune in at http://eve-radio.com/


* Lightshows will be held (similar to the manner in which EVE Radio does on occasion)
-prizes will be devised based on discussions about this event: prizes will include PLEX, ships, weapons, and other comical gifts
-to participate, bring devices that emanate light: lasers, remote-repairs, cap transfers, target spectrum breakers, and drones
-only individual pilots can be rewarded! You can partner up with someone if you like, but prize packages can only be awarded to individual pilots!

* "Secret Santa" style of gift exchanges between participants will be held (provided that participants bring gifts to exchange with each other)
-items worth under $200 million ISK are encouraged, to be contracted to me at Luminaire VII during the event to make the exchange with other participants: everyone who gives a gift gets a gift
-please mark the contract with "Secret Santa" to differentiate it from prize donations, or else your gift might be given away as a prize!
-Note: Secret Santa gifts will be exchanged AFTER the event has concluded, so we're not wasting time trying to hand out the gifts in mid-event!

Note: The first and third time, CCP Falcon and CCP Logibro showed up in CONCORD Battleships, and last time we had 12 ISDs...Everyone, including CCP and the ISDs, incursion groups, all of New Eden is invited to attend!

2230: Secret Santa Gift Window Closes
2300: Second Lightshow
2330: Third Lightshow
0000: Fourth Lightshow

Scheduling was a pain this year, due to my own work and class schedule. :(

It was either Sunday/Monday at 0000 GMT transition when I'll actually be home...or Tuesday around 1700 to conclude just before 2100 I leave for class. It was a really tough call...

Last times, the event was scheduled to proceed through midnight transition, and after consulting with Live Events officers, we decided Sunday was at least somewhat of a better choice.

This is the price I pay for working retail...which I work through every single weekend...

Update: Schedule changed! Party now at 2100 Sunday!

I managed to rearrange my work schedule so I'm off on Sunday...

Which means party is now at a reasonable hour at 2100!

It's always a real pleasure to host these events! I'm grateful for everyone who donated and contributed!

Although, there is one outstanding issue I'm hoping to correct.

One attendant did not have as much fun as I'd hoped, and unfortunately, he has blocked communication with everyone except his contacts. So, I'm hoping he takes the time to read these forums in hopes that he sees the response I have prepared in his native language.

Unfortunately I lost some footage due to a system crash caused by the interferences of the explosions. - Never happened before! Was scary to float for a few seconds without control in space.
